Engineering is more than a career to me - it is my passion and a way of life.

I will address PEO’s governance to build a more agile organisation. I will bring strong, decisive leadership that will move the PEO forward with a clear mandate, a modern and fair licensing model, and a reformed committee structure that respects self-governance.

The PEO still follows a licensing, regulation and governance model that was created before engineering became the global technology-driven profession that it is now. I am concerned about the state of engineering in Ontario and the quality of engineering practice in the Province. Ontario engineers can and should be climbing to the top. The PEO, as the regulator of the profession, plays a vital role in ensuring a high standard of engineering practice. We need renewal and change to ensure high standards and prosperity for P.Eng. licence holders.
